Pandas are unique animals and live in forests. We should do anything that can possibly help to save the giant panda from extinction because when it is gone, it can never come back. Pandas play a very crucial role in China for bamboo forests by spreading seeds and helping the vegetables to grow. The panda population has decreased because when people are in need of land, they cut down the forests that the animals live in. As result, cutting down bamboo makes survival challenging for the panda. It is difficult for a panda to leave the bamboo forest they have lived in and look for new forests. Humans should care about the pandas,otherwise, the pandas can go extinct. There will be no more panda bears for the world to admire once they are gone. Survival for young baby pandas is rare and the number of births isn’t high enough for them not to be endangered. According to Pandasinternational.org, “the giant panda bears have been listed as endangered in the 1980s, and the population of the panda bears have decreased to about 1,600 in the wild.”( By Providing Public Awareness ). In today's society, many people are getting together to help deal with these endangered pandas, and finding a way to help them from becoming extinct.
