As biology peer mentors, our goal is to guide and direct our students into not only answering a question correctly, but also in understanding how they got the question right. Whether that be advising students on what classes to take, advising them on how to study, or even correcting their misconceptions, peer mentors provide students with advice that comes from peers who have taken the course not too long ago. Biology Peer Mentors are responsible for:
Assisting in Laboratory Classes by asking students probing questions, working through procedures, and reinforcing content covered during the laboratory recitation
Holding Office Hours. Peer Mentors devote their time in assisting students with questions they have with either lecture of laboratory.
