Resulting to, inhibiting eating disorders to accomplish that “ perfect body type”, low self-esteem because they feel that society does not accept them for their physical appearance since it does not equate to the “ ideal woman image”, and depression because they feel like it is their fault for not looking exactly like the women the media representatives. These advertisements become the primary goal of women, they strive to emulate that “perfect body image”. Which is impossible, considering that amount of preparation these models and actresses needs to take into consideration to achieve this “ media look”. This is evident through the use of photoshop wherein the software enables photographers to modify the models actual image into the “perfect woman image”. In addition, The hours of preparation performers or actresses do in putting makeup and the excessive amount spend on cosmetic surgery.
