Im coming into my junior year at our usaul workout and im about to get excactly what ive been wanting. Thinking im about to get exactly what i want. A starting spot to prove myself. On a hot day with barely any breeze. We were doing our regular drills but now it was time for workouts. Coach tells the team we have ramp runs. Coach says “ Utomi! Your up first”. I wasnt to confedient in running because i not fast. Until some says “ Watch how slow”. Of course coach hears then coach tells me ‘ Prove them wrong Utomi! Show them what starters do”. Now im all hyped up ready to go. Waiting on coaches mark . ‘Go” yelled coach. Now im running up the ramp as fast as I can. Almost to the top i feel a pull in my left leg. Coach gave me my starting spot on the football time i was the happeist man in the universe. Today was our first game . I woke up bright an early cook breakfest did early morining chors. Walking out my house to go to the bus stop my mom askes me to take the trash out before i go. Easy and simple taking the trash out it wasnt so easy this time.
