Nine years ago my dad asked me a question, after watching a football game. He said, “Javaughn do you want to play football?” He asked me this because his team, Ohio State Buckeyes, had won their first game of the season. Then he told me this, “Javaughn remember that school is more important than any sport that you play, and always have a backup plan.”
I was wondering what football was. I mean I sort of knew what it was, but wasn’t sure of it. I asked what it was, and told me that I just got done watching it. I’m eight years old at the time, so I was willing to be active and to make new friends. Since my dad asked me if I wanted to play it, and the fact that I said yes to play it. My dad made it his and my destination to get good at it. So we practiced a lot mostly on how to catch, run, tackle, and how to hold the ball. Most kids didn’t get this kind of dedication from there dads. This meant a lot to me because now my dad still today shows his dedication to me, but now it’s more on how to be a man than on sports. I said, “Yes sir, but why would I be rude to him?”
He said, “The coach is aggressive and really loud. So I got really nervous and prepared myself for him to yell at
