An Unusual Birth/ Early Childhood
Marlin is excited about his new home, waiting for the new eggs to hatch, a barracuda comes and eats his eggs and wife. All die, except one. Nemo is excited to get educated, but Marlin is overprotective and doesn't want anything to harm Nemo. He's afraid to leave Nemo alone. Nemo doesn't like being overly protected and rebels against Marlin. Marlin is afraid for Nemo to go to school by himself, so he follows his son.
2. Call to Adventure
As Marlin had suspected, Nemo did get into danger with the open sea right away. Marlin yells at Nemo, not to go out into the high seas, but Nemo doesn't like that his father couldn't trust him to go alone. As Nemo touches the boat and scuba diver appears out of nowhere, Marlin instantly goes after his son. Marlin couldn't catch up with Nemo when another scuba diver came out and took a picture of him. Marlin was astounded by the flash, so that when he recovered, he was already so far behind to catch up with his son. Now Marlin is to go after the boat and capture his son. …show more content…
Refusal of the Call
Marlin is afraid to go after Nemo because he’s scared of the open sea. He hesitated after the scuba diver captures a picture. He wasn't sure if he would come with more encounters like that with the humans. Marlin didn't want to lose his son like he did his wife, so he went straightforward into the open sea. Now Marlin is to encounter many great things and many great battles that require many skills.
