When the bell rang that meant school was out. I guess mom was running late because I didn’t see her car but she was running later than usual. I called my mom to see where she was at, but she didn’t answer so I called dad and he said that he just talked to mom and that she was on her way. I waited a few more minutes for her and soon enough she was here. I walked over to the car and got in I to put my seatbelt on and she said “she’s in the car now I’ll talk to you later and hung up.” I could tell she was talking to dad the way she said it, she asked how my day was and if I had homework and how the veterans day program went. She said that the night before, papa and grandma went out to eat. When they got home he said that he was tired and that he would put his truck away in the morning. So he got up the next morning to put his truck away and rode his four-wheeler down from the barn to the house. When he got to the house he came in and my grandma was setting his plate down to eat. He reached to turn the fan on when he fell backwards and hit his head on the cabinets. My grandma rushed down to the floor to check my grandpa she said “ Dick are you okay” he couldn’t speak but he was pointing to his heart. My grandma rushed to grab the phone and dialed 911 they rushed him to the hospital. My mom said that we were going to see him. When we got to the hospital my grandma was in the waiting room. She said that only two people were allowed in the room. My mom and sister went first, I could tell my grandma was worried about my grandpa.
