My journey with writing began as soon as I could write. When I was eight years old, I told my grandmother that I was a word-weaver and story-telling was my passion. I was notorious for taking my work to my Language Arts and English teachers and pleading with them to read and review my work.

During high school, I was enrolled in Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) and I elected to take a creative writing class. At seventeen years old, I was the youngest student in the class, but I believe my writing improved a considerable amount over those fifteen weeks.
