LEARNING OUTCOMES
My Personal Accomplishments
In the process of completing MSDA, I was able to recognize some landmarks that signify my learning achievements. First and foremost, I have undoubtedly exceeded my personal expectations in terms of my skill development. When I looked back at my MSDA preliminary paper, I was glad to see I had completed most of the goals and objectives I set for myself. I was not only able to expand my knowledge in reading about techniques of communications, but to also put my learning into context and real-life situations. This includes networking sessions, case competitions, group projects, and so on.
On another note, I have become more confident and open-minded in social situations. Through learning the value of communication, I knew that to achieve things I have never done before, I must make the effort to try things I have never tried before. Despite not knowing what case competitions are like, for example the Hult Prize Challenge, I signed up for them nonetheless. This mindset benefitted me greatly and helped me broaden my skills and knowledge.

This effect applies to my MSDA. I believe that the steps I took in developing communication skills have overlapped and benefited other skills as well. The first spillover is having communication skills boost my teamwork skills. Being part of a team is a skill to master, and having good communications allows one to contribute more. In addition to this, I have noticed a spillover to my leadership skills. Those who struggle with communicating effectively is less likely to lead a group effectively due to reasons such as misinterpretations and confusion, which will ultimately lead to
