Theodore Roosevelt once said, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." In my persepctive this quote means to do everything you possibly can now with all of the resources you have access to. Life is so short and there are so many limits on what you can do or how you can do it, so always make the most out of everything you can. The smallest things in life seems to have the most valuable. On March 11,2011 I got baptized and bought myself a cross necklace that would be a constant reminder of who I am. My cross necklace is important to who I am because I value my faith and I found my passion. To start off, the cross necklace shows how I value my faith because the Christianity symbol is a cross. I bought this necklace so it could be a constant reminder to myself and others around me. I'm not the perfect person but everyone can see that I am a Christ follower. This necklace gives me something to believe in when everything is going wrong. My hope to get through everyday when there it seems like there is no hope anymore. After I started volunteering I learned that I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher in the future. When I bought my cross necklace it was a reminder to everyone else that I love being a small group leader for kindergarten boys at my church and a worship leader for kindergarten through second grade kids. I soon realize that I had a passion for teaching and love for all kids. I always knew that I loved children, everytime my mom had her friends over i would end up playing with all the kids no matter the age.
