We all go through a stage in life where we feel like life is unfair. We feel like the world is against us, we feel like nobody understands us, and we feel like nothing seems to be working out for us. But when we come to certain realizations, learn from our mistakes, and persevere through our problems, everything turns out just fine.
It’s at this point that we suddenly understand that everything that has happened had a purpose behind it. It was either a lesson or an experience that we had to go through to prepare ourselves for something else. And this is where we start to accept things as they are. We become okay with them. We expect so much from other people that when they don't talk, act or think that way, we feel disappointed. We crave for attention, but at the same time, we want to please everyone else. All this is too much pressure, which makes life complex and hard when it’s supposed to be simple and full of joy.
But when we change our perspective, suddenly we can smile, breathe deeply and slow down because we’re okay with things, and experience the present moment with a peaceful mind. Once we change our perspective, we see that maybe the problem wasn’t with the other person who may have started the argument, but the problem was the way we reacted and the actions we took after that.
Once we change our perspective, we see the beauty in the little things. We start to notice more of the positive than the negative. We notice that the glass is half full instead of half empty. We don’t take things personally anymore because we understand people, that they have their own fights and fears to overcome, just like
