The real question is, did the government do the right decision when they approved a law that states that college student are allowed to carry arms/guns on campus premises. Even though you need a permit to carry a gun on all public places it doesn’t make it right. On my part I really disagree with the government on its recent decision.
It’s impossible to stop violence with more violence.
In the past three years there are many terrible events that have take place in the United States in which more than 50% percent involve a gun. Massive shutting in many parts of the states, many innocent lives lost every year .In fact not to long ago a gunman identified by authorities as Christopher Sean Harper-Mercer shot and killed eight fellow students and teacher at Umpqua Community College , he owned 14 guns all punched legally. Know you might as well put guns in the school supply list. Allowing guns in colleges could rapidly increase the number of fatalities. Why not instead create more secure facilities with new safety procedures, and educate students on what to do on a massive shutting situation. Its …show more content…
How is a student going to feel safe in an environment in which maybe perhaps maybe 20 out of 60 students in class is carrying a gun. I for sure wouldn’t and I know that many people like me are concern about these issued. recently browsing the web i read some debate arguments in which students argued whether or not students and teachers be allowed to carry guns on college campuses for personal protection? in which 52% of students say no. I don’t think is fair that we do not get to vote on something that affect us as students directly, An instead other people get the right to decide or future and they don't even attend school
