Studies show that marijuana has been able to help with glaucoma, aids in regards to loss of appetite and asthma. With glaucoma, which is a form of blindness due to increased pressure in the eye, marijuana is able to reduce the pressure inside the eye. Marijuana actually opens up the lungs of an asthma attack victim. It can also help with muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis. If marijuana is legalized it will allow patients easier access to the drug. They would have to create a device to check how much THC is in your blood, which would mean that they would have to set a limit on how much your allowed to have in your system before it becomes harm to you and others around you. Other than that their might also be an increase in usage because now it is legal, which means they would have to set age limit on who can purchase the legal marijuana. The lawmakers would have to sit down and discuss these issues before the fully legalize marijuana. That would only be the real negative effect of legalizing
