Career Research Paper As a child the human body had always fascinated me. I don't know want it was that sparked my interest in this, but I new I had a calling for an career in this pathway. With a little bit of research I came across the profession of physical therapy. After a little bit of reading I thought to myself that this might be for me. Once done with the DPT program an individual is required to take the Nation Physical Therapy Examination to start legally practicing (U.S. Bureau). Once an individual’s education is all done and they are licensed, they can get to work and that making the big bucks. Depending where they are employed physical therapists earn a pretty decent paycheck. “The median annual wage for physical therapists was $85,400 in May 2016. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount and half earned less. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $58,190, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $122,130 (U.S. Bureau)”. With the high pay an individual can expect having hard work all day, usually working with a range of different clientele. The type clients a physical therapists can expect are anywhere from young kids to working with the elderly. With the job comes the benefits. Like most jobs the benefits depend on the employer.
