Why pitbulls should be allowed as pets Pitbulls have always been the topic of conversation in the United States. I believe that Pitbulls shouldn't be pets. In the editorial, “Should people be allowed to keep pit bulls as pets?” argues how pit bulls should not be pets because they can kill, they are popular breeds for bad people, and they don't make people feel safe. In this essay, I'm going to argue why and how pitbulls are vicious.

One of my reasons that I am against pitbulls is they can attack people during an attack. According to the article ”The ban was enacted after a pitbull attacked a young girl. A pitbull neighbor had escaped from the house and was sitting in the Moreira’s driveway when 8-year-old Melissa and her mother returned to the house. The dog viciously attacked Melissa, requiring her to have multiple major reconstructive surgeries in the years following the incident”. The article also states that “Under the old law, owners of all pitbulls were required to register their dogs as dangerous”.
