As you completed the workbook, what was the biggest takeaway that you experienced?
One takeaway was the idea that reusing your own words or ideas from an earlier piece of work that you handed in would be considered plagiarism. This is new knowledge and I will certainly note this for future use as I am sure I have used this without realizing I was plagiarizing.

Number 3 - Taking another’s words and changing them around so they aren’t like-for-like, without giving any credit.
I think this common use of plagiarism is used as a means of cheating. When someone does not want to do the research assignment and they think that the work will not be checked.
Number 5 - Including another’s exact words or paraphrasing in your work and giving credit – where a large proportion of your final work is made up of the other person’s words.
I would think that this would be used in academic study without realizing that you are committing plagiarism, especially when you are answering questions where you are asked to summarize a thought about a specific topic of discussion on a reading assignment.

I was not aware that using your own work would be considered plagiarism and perhaps others would not be aware as well. I can see where this could be a common use without knowing you were committing plagiarism.
