Police Brutality is a huge issue in current times in America. There are many minority groups that are being affected by the current killings by police officers. Many believe certain minority groups are being targeted. What can we do to avoid these current killings? In the story, “The Paranoid Style of American Policing” by Ta-nehisi Coates. She explains the current killings that continue to happen in Chicago. The police in Chicago are not doing much of keeping the peace. The people in Chicago are afraid to call the cops because they might go against them. People tend to keep the peace amongst themselves.
