For this interview I was able to interview two administrators of a preschool. They both founded the center and it was very interesting to interview them together and see how well they work and how much they rely on each other. I was able to interview Mrs. Radford and Mrs. Reed of Lilly Pads Learning Preschool in Canby Oregon. I decide to interview these ladies because this center opened up in 2010. It was one of the only preschools in my hometown and it has provided many opportunities for parents and students. I started the interview asking Mrs. Radford and Mrs. Reed why they decided to open up this preschool. Their story starts in a smaller setting and only having three staff members. The first year they took in all the children that they could. Each year more and more students wanted to enroll in their preschool. They knew that they needed to move to a bigger location and within in three years of opening their doors, they moved to a larger facility with a gym, and hired additional staff members to help everyday functions. This preschool accepts ages three to five, but they believe in teaching the whole child. The classroom sizes stay between 10-12 students. They believe that this helps teachers provide a more one on one experience but also allows the students to complete activities independently. This preschool also strives to keep parents involved. They always encourage parents to come in and provide many family fun nights for the entire family. The administrators also update their Facebook, and website regularly so that parents can know what events are happening and questions can be answered. They also provide classes for parents to take in the evening. Other preschools in the area don’t do this as much, which is why Lilly’s Pad Learning Preschool is sought after the most by
