Working hours for preschool teachers consist of an eight hour workday. The beginning of the day starts off with getting the children in class and settled into the classroom. The start of the day seems to be the most stressful for teachers because the students are cranky and hard to settle down in the morning. After the children are settled, the teacher starts off the day by teaching the lesson of the day, but teaching the children can also be a challenge as well because some students have a difficult time learning than others or have a harder time staying on task than others, therefore teaching can take longer than usual.
