A kid's only worry should be being a kid and not having to worry about the effects gun violence might have on them “What they fail to point out is that the rate of firearm deaths among children under 15 years of age, incredibly, is still 12 times higher in the United States than in 25 other industrialized nations combined” (Gergen). This points out that several others don't have this problem, but they also don't have guns or they're heavily restricted and harder to get than in America. Its also a problem in schools. There have been 346 school shootings in the last year, the people doing the shootings are often children who are getting bullied or have some type of mental issues that have limited resources to get help.
