Many indiviuals have different views on the dispute, "what is the purpose of government. There are many ways people can develop a view of what the objective of government is. The purpose of government in the U.S. is to protect citizens and their rights. Many of the past US presidents agree with this statement. Yet some people realize that the government fails to do so.
