The following are some of the target groups: Persons with congenital diseases or conditions that may lead to dependency of life long treatment or are dependent on care from other people in their day to day responsibilities. The professional are bound by the law and should be able to protect the patient and the family by parameters of facets within the legal and ethical system. The preferences of the patient and the family should be taken into consideration while making decisions during the recuperation period. Decision aptitude is left to the adult patient and he/she determine if the involvement of the family is required in decision making. Documentation of the previous history of the medical report of the patient will help them discern the next cause of action to be taken.
