There are many friendly and assertive movement gestures you can personally do while driving behind the wheel to avoid any disturbance to any other road users. For example if another road user is tailgating you, you carefully move over to the next lane to avoid the tailgater from negatively responding to you. Consider whether you’ve done something to annoy the other driver and adjust your driving accordingly. If you have another road user that interacts with you negatively, use an “I’m sorry” gesture to attempt to defuse the situation. While you are behind the wheel you can try playing enjoying music to sooth yourself to prevent disturbance. Be the better person and ignore any negative gestures assigned to you, don’t make any eye contact with anyone who is repeatedly making faces at you.
