What I Know So far in my short life, I’ve always liked to help people. There are many jobs in this world that help people out, such as being a doctor, a firefighter, and even a police officer. The one job I have recently looked into has been being a nurse. I think being a nurse would help out a lot just being at home, in public, and of course at a hospital so I could help anyone anywhere. It takes a lot to be a nurse. The requirements needed to be a nurse are going to school and getting a degree, and finding an environment to work in that you like such as a hospital, a house, or a school. Another reason why I started thinking about this job is that my aunt used to be a nurse and we sat down and talked about it. I’ve learned that you need at least two years to receive a degree in this field as a registered nurse, and the amount of classes and which ones you need to take for the schooling aspect. When I researched, I also looked into some job descriptions and found out there are multiple jobs, you have to do in this job to keep things in check, tasks such as monitoring patients and educating family members, consult with other health care providers, give needed medication, and keeping records. I also learned about the different salary amounts you get as a nurse working at various locations such as, a hospital, a home, or a nursing home. If I were to choose where I wanted to work I would choose a hospital, but if I were just starting out I would probably be put in a nursing home. I learned about hours too, and I wouldn’t mind any shift as of right now, as long as I’m working and getting payed I’ll be
