African Leaders, Not Aid Donors, Must Lead The Way to Ending Hunger was written by Tony Blair and Howard Buffett. This article’s ethos argument is very credible considering the authors and sources of the article. It is written by two successful men who have organizations that have come together to deliver the plans to African leaders to help change hunger for millions of people. One of the authors, Howard Buffett, wrote the book called Finding Hope in a Hungry World. The book captures Howard’s journey of helping the many people suffering around the world. The logos used in this article show that it is written very factually and appeals to be useful. From the author’s own personal experiences in Africa, they have come to the conclusion that with all the technology and resources available, ending hunger can be sooner than we think by giving the right information to African leaders that can make huge changes. Definitions to most extensive words were stated and there were individuals mentioned who were quoted correctly. Even though the all over article was not sourced correctly or the author could not be found, the quoted individuals in the article made the logos in the article stronger and stand out more.
Pathos in the article World Hunger Falls Under 800 Million are used well but not used up to the potential of what they could be. The article is not strong and does not use the language it could to bring emotional appeal to the reader. Mentioned in this article, it says that the percentage of undernourished people in developing regions has lowered from 23.3 percent to 12.9 percent. We must make the hungriest parts of the world our priority to be a Zero Hunger generation (Arabia 2000, 2015).
Both articles that were used are well written articles that provide information that helped give a better understanding on hunger in the world.
