Julius Caesar and the senate expanded the great Roman Empire by winning a string of wars throughout Europe all before Caesar himself became dictator. After becoming dictator, Caesar's enemies multiplied and became determined to put a halt to his reign by having him executed. Caesar was eventually wiped out on the steps of the senate, remarkably by the same men whom he assisted in the establishment of the Roman Empire. Julius Caesar is recognized as one of the world's most influential military leaders in history, specifically given commendation in his devising of the stepping stones of Rome.

Julius Caesar was known for his great leadership role that he displayed while controlling his military and dictating Rome. Many of his accomplishments are still meaningful in today’s world and society as a whole. Caesar was not only known for his admirable war tactics and achievements in roman politics, but also through his supposed love affair with Cleopatra of Egypt. He was able to become one of the most influential and most powerful leaders in history which enabled him to altercate a new Roman dynasty.
