The assignment will discuss a conflict I had a work. Along with the detailed story of the events that transpired, I will include the steps I took to resolve the issue. In addition, I will include the critical analysis tool I used which is the Root Cause Analysis.

My experience at the workplace when I started working was easygoing and quiet but gradually the department I was in expected more from me after a few weeks of working. I was expected to master my duties and responsibilities overnight and there was no one to train me. The co-worker questions me aggressively during meetings and makes me feel uncomfortable.

Step Two: Collect Data

· What proof do you have that the problem exists? Most meetings I am required to do a presentation and the co-workers challenge my reports.

· How long has the problem existed? The first few weeks after I was hired.

· What is the impact of the problem? The impact I was having was feeling inadequate for the job and it was beginning to create insecurity. I was no longer looking forward to the meetings because I felt uncomfortable.

Step Three: Identify Possible Causal Factors

· What sequence of events leads to the problem? The possible causes are the following, the co-workers might be trying to help me by giving me feedback but I am taking it personal. The co-workers might me going through something personal and it is affecting their working attitude.

Step Four: Identify the Root Cause(s)

· Why does the causal factor exist? Out of the possible reasons I think it is a combination of their way of helping me but it is possible it also might personal issues at home and it is affecting their work
