The key ideas behind Salvador Dali paintings, are his dreams that gave him the ideas of what to paint. Dali’s dreams has been compared to the Freud Theory. The Freud Theory is basically explaining how the brain works and the reason why people dream about certain things. The themes that are relevant in Dali’s paintings are, eroctism, death, and decay.
