During the school year, most students depend on the meals given to them at school. The meals given to the students could decrease or increase the student's energy levels and their learning process, which then affects their attention span depending on what is being served. If the meals being given to the students are lacking certain nutrients, it can lead the students to mental and physical issues, especially in young children. It is said students with a diet that lacks vegetables, fruits, or proteins are more likely to get lower test scores than students who have a good diet that contains the nutrients needed. Also, they are more likely to miss school or have to repeat grades due to low scores and low grades.
