Have you ever wanted better school lunches because how unappetizing they are?School lunches have to be healthy enough to follow guidelines but they also make kids not eat the lunches and just throw them away. School lunches are important to discuss because if they make the lunches healthy, then nobody will eat them. if they make them a little bit more unhealthy maybe kids will start to eat the lunches. While unhealthy lunches cause obesity, schools shouldn’t have healthier lunches because nutrition changes add significant costs, while the healthier food option causes higher food waste.

Healthy food options cause higher food waste.
