Only having one or two weeks off every month does not sound as appealing as three months off does it? If I have three months off I can go anywhere with my family like India. We can travel, relax, and spend time with each other. But if I only had one or two weeks off a each month we would not be able to any of those things with ease, like traveling to India, Florida, or Canada. You would still have to add packing and actually getting there by plane, bus, car, or train. Imagine going to India for one week spending at least one thousand dollars per person but only going to for a few weeks but adding packing and getting used to the timing only leaves a week to enjoy my trip. Having three months off together, a week or two off during Christmas and having four day weekends is so much better than having a few weeks off. I always anxiously wait for the end of the year and getting to relax and enjoy my three months off and not worry about going to school. The best part about getting closer to the end of the year is planning trips with my family. If the school calendar were not to stay the same I would not be able to wait for the end of the year and enjoy traveling. Not to mention going school supply shopping at the end of summer
