On the contrary having a longer school year that lasts all year round could give students many opportunities. The year-round school year could possibly lead to graduating high school faster. Also it is sort of a mimic of college because the breaks are much longer in college and some students take summer classes making their school year all year round. Most teens get their personal money from summer jobs, and by not having a long summer break that takes away a lot of their summer jobs. Jobs while going to school take a significant amount of time out of a student's day to work instead of doing homework or calming down from the stress of school.
