Short Lunches Short lunches have been a large problem with schools for a while now. Lunch is very important for kids at school because a good meal will help students stay focused on work instead of being hungry all day. Students at CHS have 25 minutes to eat. Many students end up not eating during their lunch period because of the lack of time. The lines just to get food take up a large portion of time that they could be using to eat. Another reason the short lunches should be extended is that kids need more time to socialize. Some people think that the lunches are fine the way it is, but many kids and even teachers claim to not have enough time to get food and eat it within the time. Sitting in the cafeteria, looking around is quite surprising
