Of Mice and Men is a novel written by John Steinbeck about two migrant workers and their experiences. The book was written in 1937 and the movie was made in 1992. Although they are quite similar there are a few key differences. The movie ending of Of Mice and Men greatly differs from that of the book’s, Lennie’s death and the final scene are two of the more critical differences.
Lennie’s death was necessary to the well being and safety of others. Lennie dies when George finds him in the brush by the Salinas river.
