This system includes all bones ans joints of the human body. All bones of the human body are made up of lots of cells, protein fibers and also minerals. The skeleton is their to support the bones and also to protect the tissues that are also in the body. This system also has points for muscles for joints to move. red bone marrow inside of each bone helps create new blood cells. All of the bones also hold calcium, iron, and energy to help create fat. The skeletal system grows all the way through childhood and also allows the rest of the human body to grow with this system. In an adult the skeletal system is made up of 206 different bones. These bones comme in to different catergories the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton runs along the bodys midline axis and has 80 different bones they include: skull hyoid auditory ossicles ribs sternum vertebral column
The appendicular skeleton has 126 bones they include: upper limbs lower limbs pelvic girdle pectoral girdle (shoulder)
The skull has 22 bones when babies are born the skull is not attatched properly as it allows them to grow but then come together to allow extra strengh within an adult. The vertebrae has twenty-six different bones.
The skeletal system forms a process called hematopoiesis this is where red bone marrow make red and white blood cells. red bone marrow is found in spaces outside of the bone, children have more red bone marrow compared to their body size because of their bodys growth and development. when the end of puberty is their the red bone marrow is replaced by yellow bone marrow. This system also stores alot of essential substances for the human body. available at: http://www.innerbody.com/image/skelfov.html

The immune system and lympatic systems:
These systems are to closely related systems that both share alot of organs and physiological functions. The immune system works as our bodys defence mechanism against illness, diseases, bacteria, infections and fungi. The immune system fights these away if they come into contact with the human body. The lymphatic system is made up of capillaries, vessels, nodes and other parts that transport a fluid called lymph from the tissues as it comes to the blood stream. The lymphatic tissue of these organs filters and cleans the lymph of any debris, wrongly looking cells or other things such as pathogens, the lymphatic system also transports fatty acids from the intestines to the circulatory system. available at: http://www.innerbody.com/image/lympov.html cells of the immune system include: White blood cells- Phagocytes, Neutrophils, Macrophages and Lymphocytes. Phagocytes are produced throughout life by the bone marrow scavengers remove dead cells and microorganisms. Neutrophis this patrols tissues as they squeeze out of the capillaries, lots of these are released during infections they live shortly. Macrophages these are neutrophils found in the organs and not the blood, they have a long lifespan and initiate immune responses as they display antigens from the pathogens to the lymphocytes. Phagocytosis thesenrelease histamine if cells are under attack, histamine plus chemicals from pathagons mean neutrophils aree attracted to the attacks.
Lymphocytes produce antibodies. http://www.authorstream.com/Presentation/mahesh120181-2240096-immune-system/ Lymphatic functions: provide defence against infections, these protective cells are found throughout the bloodstream, in lymphatic organs and they can also go into tissues (lymphoid system) or (immune system). lymph- fluid around the body without this you'll get ill.
Lymphatic vessels- moving the lymphs through the body.
Lymph nodes- minature lymph organs.
Lymphoid organs- spleen, tonsels.
Lymphocytes- cells of lymphoid system.
