America is the land of the free. To be an american is to be someone that is free. Slavery is the opposite of the ideals of being an american. Which happened during many times throughout the history of america. Being an american also means that your skin color mattered to be called an American. America who had oppressed black african and other races also fought for their freedom. Which leads me to think that it just takes time for changes to be made, but when it does everybody can see and tell that america can be a land of the free.
History shows that this country is filled with operations to other races. They say this is the land of the free but in the past they would take other races out of their own country and turn them into slaves just because americans are lazy. Most people have a different view about this land of dreams and freedom. They see that this country was build on the crushed hopes of countless africans, indians, and other races . This has changed with time I’m glad that america was able to realize that everyone is different and also equal at the same time.

I think that america has gotten a whole lot better things to people in the past who saw great things in the future. They dreamed about making this world great which meant everyone had the right to be part of it. When i moved to america it was really hard for me on the first few years because other kids loved making fun of me just because of where i’m from. After some few years it got better they all started to like and accepted me for who I was which took a while but it was worth the wait. Just like in the past it takes time for any changes to be noticed and
