In my research, I will use the social cognitive theory by Albert Bandura that focuses on how people motivate themselves to achieve personal goals.

Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, 19(2), 182-201. This study investigated social and cognitive factors. In this article Solberg and Villareal use self-efficacy one of the concepts of the social and cognitive theory by Albert Bandura. In addition, the authors state that college self-efficacy gives students confidence in performing college tasks.
