I believe that social and economical justice should be available to everyone in order to create a society that encompasses the notion of equal opportunity for all. I plan on engaging in a career that I hope would contribute to two of the most vulnerable populations, which are those whom suffer from mental illness and individuals who have aged out of the foster care systems. My post-graduate plans first include finding a full time position within an organization where I can grow professionally and also develop skills throughout the course of my career as a social worker. I would complete the program within two and a half years as an MSW hybrid weekend college student and become a May 2018 Master of Social Work Graduate. Three years later from the start of my career at the organization of my choice, I plan on excelling into a higher position within the same company as an LMSW. Over the next two years, I would be working on my LCSW and once completed, take a couple of years break from school and then go on to finish my PhD at the University of Houston.
