I believe Sodapop is a hero because this is what qualities he possess: Courage, Bravery, Wisdom, Honesty, Loyalty, and Dedication. My definition of a hero is someone who is above the rest. Puts others first. Uses their head and protects others when there is danger. They also tough up so they won’t get as hurt. Sodapop has enough courage to stick up for the gang and his family against the Socs. He also puts his family first which is an important factor about having a family. Soda has bravery when it comes to be time for the rumble and he helps protect the home turf and the gang.
