I was placed in special education from fourth grade to eighth grade. During my time in special education, everyone around me teased me about it. I was embarrassed of myself when I was young. I lost the confidence of being able to do anything in life at an early age. Eventually, I got out of special education in eighth grade. Even though I got out of special education, I still considered other students smarter than me. When I started community college, my scores for mathematics and English were low because I did not learn anything during my primary and secondary education.
