Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco. He was born to Abdulfattah Jandali, and Joanne Schieble, but shortly after he was up for adoption. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs who later named him Steven Paul Jobs. He moved from San Francisco to Mountain View, California in 1957. Steve grew up in a neighborhood with engineers who would always work in their garages where Jobs could see all the gadgets that they were working on.

Steve always had trouble in school, he pulled pranks in elementary school due to being bored of everything the school was teaching. He had always been a very intelligent child, so much so his fourth-grade teacher wanted him to skip all the way to high school. His parents declined for unknown reasons. He refused to be potentially cured by a surgery, but by just changing his diet and natural treatment. Only in 2004 when his condition was worsening, did he agree to do the surgery. For the next five years he looked perfectly healthy, even speaking about being “Cured” (Jobs) from his cancer. At a WWDC keynote Jobs was thinner than he’d ever been, and at the 2008 MacWorld, it was announced he would not be the keynote speaker. He seemed to recover after his six-month sick leave, until late 2010. Jobs health was steadily depleting. In January of 2011 Jobs announced sick leave, this time without an end date.
