A person on an academic scholarship doesn’t have the same responsibility as a person that has an athletic scholarship. Students with academic scholarships just need to maintain passing grades students with athletic scholarship must maintain passing grades and play the sport. “Players are essentially working full-time jobs while going to school; they deserve to be paid more than a scholarship.
