Susan B. Anthony once said, “Men, their rights, and nothing more; women, their rights, and nothing less.” in this quote, she was trying to get everyone to notice how different the rights were between men and women. She wanted that to change. Susan B. Anthony was not only a women's rights campaigner, but also, an Abolitionist, Suffragist, Author, Speaker, and the president of the Women Suffrage Association. The first concern that Susan B. Anthony had for women is when she wanted them to be able to vote. But of course, there are two sides to every argument On the other side, many men and even some women believed that women were less intelligent and had no say in political acts. Rather, they were better for the home work and family jobs. But, as you can see, women are just as smart as men and should have the same rights as them. According to susanbanthonyhouse.org, Anthony and the rest of her family were all agreeing that slavery is cruel and needs to stop. While protesting against slavery, she also had many people who joined her. Some of those people were, a majority of her family, Frederick Douglass, William Lloyd Garrison, and Elizabeth Cady Scranton. The second reason the Susan B. Anthony wanted slavery to be banned is because it was unfair. She wanted people to sympathize for the slaves. Anthony once said, "Let us feel that it is our own children, ruthlessly torn from our yearning mother hearts, sold on the auction block to the highest bidder." What she is trying to say is, that we should think about if those slaves were our children. Would you want your children to
