From age 5 ranging all the way to 17 they are working in very dangerous jobs like factories, mines etc. In 2008, there were 60 children found dead after working in dangerous jobs. For example, in 2020, the world marked a rise in child labor for the first time in two decades. An estimated 160 million children were involved in child labor around the world at the beginning of 2020. By the end of 2022, 9 million additional young people could be pushed into child labor because of the pandemic, the report says. About half of the children were involved in very cautious/dangerous work like mining and farm work, which directly endangered their health and safety. The new estimates are a wake up call. It inspired/changed me because maybe I could even make a stand one time. If I was a teen activist I would definitely help out the child labor community and make the child labor laws better for the environment. I feel like the child labor activists will get a bunch of hate, but do I think that they’re going to care, I don’t think so. I don’t know what to expect from them in the future because I don’t want them to turn out like Iqbal Masih (He died from an oncoming car and got
