What if the person you loved was not the person you thought they were? Well, in Allied, the entire film is based on this concept. Being allegedly based on a true story, the film boasts turmoil, love and destruction with regard to the characters love for one another and WWII in progress.
While there are many films based on true stories out there, this one in particular seems a bit odd. While most films have hard evidence to base their movies off of, in my research it seems as though Stephen Knight heard the story on his travels 30 years ago from word of mouth rather than textbooks. Additionally, even though the same person who directed Forest Gump directed the film, the emotions I felt in Allied could not be comparable to that in which Bubba dies in Forest’s
