Education is one of the crucial aspects that determines whether you succeed or not in American society. In the past, only privileged men had the opportunity to study at universities. The situation has drastically changed as more and more universities have been established for the increased demand for post-secondly education. Consequently, it opened the door to post-secondly education for people who were discriminated such as women and people of color.

Therefore, I insist that a university education should be more accessible for people who need it because it is more beneficial to society, people with student loans have to face a lower standard of living, and everyone, ideologically, should have the equal opportunity of receiving the pleasure of studying. One of the biggest problems of the current post-secondly education system is the student loan. Students, who find it hard to afford the increased tuition, apply for student loans from the various institution. The university education system in the US has changed drastically over the time. In the past, most of the states charged only little amount of tuition to students. In California, all universities were free until the 1970s. Warren, Kenneth W., and Samir Santi claim that tuition at public universities has increased by more than 350 over the last 30 years. As a result, the cost of education now accounts for almost 15 percent of the average family's annual income while it was about 4 percent in the 1970s (26).
