Between the end of the eleventh century and into the thirteenth century, European Christians, conducted a series of nine wars that have come to be know as the Crusades. The Crusades all started because of the Holy Land, a land that the Christians, Jews, and the Muslims wanted. So they mainly fought over land. Were the results of the Crusades more positive or negative? It shows that the Crusades were more negative because the wars, and because of how they took over lands. In addition, the effects of The Crusades were more positive than negative. Document 5 states that the positive results were that the Syrian and Palestinian manage to survive for about two centuries before the Muslims reconquered Crusaders.
