The Civil War was one of the most important wars in US history. It changed the hearts and minds of everyone in the nation. Most of all it changed how our country was run. It brought more peace to the states, (took a while) and changed the way everyone lived.

One of the first and foremost causes of the civil war was the economic differences of the North and the South. First off, the north was more up to speed on technology. They had more people, guns, factories, jobs, and railroads. They could easily mass produce items and ship them all over the country. But, most of all the North did not believe in slavery.
