I was practicing and it was the last practice before the first game when the shortest person on the team (Jackson Bond) ran into my legs when I had the ball I did a full flip and landed wrong on my leg. I had no clue what had happened, but my leg hurt terribly. I sat out for practice that day, but every single one of the coaches said that I would be better in a couple of days. But when my mom and dad drove up to get me, they could tell something was not right. My dad, who was a former personal trainer, said he was worried that I had torn my ACL. We went to a hospital and I got a CT scan, they said that I would get my results back in one month! I had to walk in crutches but so that I didn’t have to do that for another month my dad called his friend Bill, who is a leg doctor. When Bill looked at the CT scan he could clearly see that I had actually torn my ACL! Because we knew that I had torn my ACL, we knew that I had to have surgery if I didn’t want to walk with crutches the rest of my life. I had surgery and was so nervous but soon found out that it was not that bad after being put to sleep. I took physical therapy and eventually fully recovered my
