“Several organizations have attempted to help better understand the "quality chasm" by developing tools for assessing the relative quality of institutions and their services (Singh, 2010).” These tools are built on standards of care and performance benchmarks allowing for a balanced comparison across facilities and regions. With establishing a facility that is conductive to being long-term care or hospital acute and chronic care having policy and procedures set can initiate insurance or payer source and a lot understanding the area the facility has concentration. Hospital care facilities operate with instructed care from doctors, medical advisor staff, and or community involvement.
